Catching Up!

Whew, that is all I can say it has been a very busy and challenging 6 months.  We left Japan in October to begin our next adventure in Germany.  We are stationed at Spangdahlem AB.  I will not bore you with all of the details about  our move.  I can say that this move has been the most challenging for us, I thought PCS'ing  (moving) would get easier, Boy was I wrong.  This base just doesn't have their stuff together.  Now that we have been here for a few months we are accepting things the way they are, it is so different here from Japan.  Oh how we miss Japan, Misawa will always be our favorite assignment.
We are adjusting little by little and making the best of it here.  I know many of you are saying really making the best of it and you live in Europe come on crazy lady.  Well I think vacationing here and living here are 2 very different things.  We have made some great friends and have a church "home" that we really like.
The weather has been nice the last couple of weeks and that has been great!  We are excited to get out and do a few things and the sun is out that is awesome!  I so missed the sun this winter.  We are looking forward to the traveling opportunities that Europe will bring.  I went to Paris a few weeks ago for a long weekend and that was fun!
We are still working on getting the house in order, we should be done with that this week.
Charlie is working swing shift so his girls don't get to see him as much as we would like.  I am working as the Assistant Manager in the cafeteria at Teagen's school, I love working the same hours as her school schedule.  Teagen is in Girl Scouts and just started piano last week.  Teagen misses Japan a lot but being the amazing little girl she is she is adjusting well.
We are looking forward to seeing our family and friends while we are home this summer.  I am also looking forward to getting my Target and mall fix as well.
